ASTM A269 Standard Specification
This specification is used for seamless and welded austenitic stainless steel tubing for general corrosion-resisting and low or high temperature service. It covers many grades, such as TP304, TP304L, TP316, TP316L, TP347, etc.
ASTM A790 Standard Specification
This specification covers seamless and straight-seam welded ferritic/austenitic steel pipe intended for general corrosive service, with particular emphasis on resistance to stress corrosion cracking.

Inspection of Stainless Steel Elbow & Tee
For size of ASTM A269 elbow & tee in the order, they are below 1-1/2”, the tolerance of outside diameter is ±0.13mm and thickness tolerance is ±10%.
For size of ASTM A790 /A312 elbow in the order, it is 141.3mm x 3.05mm, the tolerance of outside diameter is +(1.6 -0.8), and thickness tolerance is ±12.5%.
Our QA/QC inspect and measure the size according above requirements, and take photo in record.
Marking
The marking consists of product name, size, pressure rating/thickness, material, standard, heat number. It depends on size and customer’s requirement.
